It seems we’re having something of a resurgence of Doctor Who from days gone by with, in just over a week, there having been rewatches of the 50th anniversary special Day of the Doctor – which really reminded me of how much fun the series used to be be and, more recently, a watch of Rose.
The episode which kicked off the return of Doctor Who 15 years ago (on Thursday past) and starred Christopher Eccleston as The Doctor and Billie Piper as the titular Rose.
However, there was more to is as then showrunner Russell T Davies wrote a new coda for the episode, which you can watch below..
Starring Big Finish’s Jacob Dudman, the episode is called Revenge of the Nestene and picks up just after the episode ends.
It’s a fun little ad-on to the Eccleston years and proof that, even in lockdown, there’s room for the Doctor in our world.
