WATCH: Supergirl teaser features Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor… and is Superman in the episode?

March 10th, 2019 by Marc Comments

Lex Luthor arrives on the small screen.

In next week’s episode of Supergirl, called O Brother, Where Art Thou? Three-and-a-half men star Jon Cryer makes his debut as Luthor and the trailer is below.

Now, two things.

Firstly, he looks pretty great in the role. Threatening and prepared to do whatever it takes to ruin Superman.

Except…

We don’t think Superman is in the episode, depsite the trailer focusing on him.

Tyler Hoechlin, who plays the Man of Steel in Supergirl, isn’t listed as appearing and all the clips in the trailer seem to be lifted form previous episodes.

We hope he IS in it – Lex and Superman belong opposite each other – but if he isn’t, it’s a bit underhanded to have him in the teaser so much.

Thoughts?
