As we all wait for the Supergirl TV show to arrive – with dreams like a kid on Christmas Eve of a world where she, Arrow and Flash all co-exist – the new audition tapes (below) hint that Superman, despite rumours to the contrary, may be in the show or at least be in the background.

The following videos are of actors auditioning for various roles within the series. And, while we probably won’t see any of them in the show (but who knows), it’s interesting to listen to the dialogue – it’s especially interesting to hear that James ‘Jimmy’ Olsen will be in the show and seems to have a reputation for photographing the Man of Steel.

Could these be from the pilot script? It’s very possible…

Comicbookmovie report that the series’ Jimmy Olsen is “smart, worldly, attractive and in his late 20s or early 30s. Olsen will be the object of Kara’s affection and, as implied in these audition videos, the guy that tells her all about Superman.”

Interesting stuff, huh?
