DC FANDOME: Trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League game puts the team in a very tough situation

August 23rd, 2020 by Marc Comments

A few days ago when we got the teaser poster for Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad game we were pretty intrigued.

We speculated that Superman in the poster (above) was actually Bizarro due to the lump skin and seeming purple colour. We now know, thanks to DC Fandome, that that’s not the case.. although he’s not exactly our Superman either.

The new trailer reveals that in the game – full title Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League – there are four playable characters in the form of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark and Captain Boomerang and they have found themselves in a city – confirmed to be Metropolis – overrun by Brainiac and full of evil Justice League members!

And Im so here for that!

We also learned that, unlike Gotham Knights, the game is set in the Batman: Arkham universe from Rocksteady co-founder Sefton Hill, it is set in an open-world Metropolis and is a one to four-player co-op game.

You can play single-player with the Squad filled by bots but you an go online with your friends and pick your favourite team member to suit up as. Oh, and single player means you can jump between characters.

The creators of the Batman: Arkham series are back with a brand new action-adventure shooter. The
most dangerous villains in the DC Universe have been forced to team up and take on a new mission: Kill
the Justice League. Create Chaos in Metropolis. You are the Suicide Squad.

Coming in 2022 to PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.

No arguing, this looks gorgeous…
