Klei Entertainment, the developers of Don’t Starve, have launched a Kickstarter to get Chester, a dog-like portable inventory character, made into a plush toy.
Their Kickstarter video:
Launched on 25th November, they asked for $15,000, and within a day had made $39,119, successfully funding their goal.
You can get Chester for $50 (+$15 outside the US).
If you want a super special uber rare version of Chester, Shadow Chester, that’ll cost $150 (+$15 outside the US). Limited to only 100 worldwide. And will also include a Blind Box collectable figurine.
And yes, the plush version of Chester does have mouth storage space, and also comes with his Eye Bone.
They have achieved their first stretch goal, $25,000, and will be adding Shadow Chester into the game and will come with +3 extra inventory slots. The next stretch goal is $60,000, and if achieved, they will include a vinyl sticker pack, and will be free to backers who pledge over $75.
Their Kickstarter ends on 27th December, so you’ve got plenty of time to decide whether you want to get a Chester of your own.
