On 23rd November, World of Warcraft turned 9 years old!
And to celebrate, if you log into World of Warcraft between now and 22nd December, you will be given a ‘Feat of Strength’ to add to your achievements. Head to any mailbox to collect your ‘Celebration Package’ item with a special message from Blizzard.
Using the item shoots off fireworks and grants the buff ‘WoW’s 9th Anniversary’ and increases experience and reputation gains from kills by 9% for 1hr.
Your character also gets the effect of wearing the ‘Contest Winner’s Tabard’ a removed and very rare item.
