PlayStation 4 Does Not Support External Hard Drive

October 30th, 2013 by Al Keenan the Bald Gamer Dude Comments

A Q&A on Sony’s blog today revealed that the PS4 does not support external hard drives.

You can however swap out the internal hard drive but with Sony’s console shipping with a 500GB hard drive and with games like Battlefield 4 requiring 10+ gig installs this will not last long, most gamers hoped that they would be able to buy a fairly cheap 1TB external hard drive that would keep them going but that will not be the case.
We wonder if this could be changed in a software patch or whether Sony will stick to this.

What are your thoughts? Does this put you off Sony at all?
