Finally, the Assassin’s Creed game that I’ve been waiting for is becoming reality.
Last night the trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla was released and it’s about time. This has been the one version I’ve been waiting for since my favourite Black Flag and the trailer certainly delivers.
From what we can see a lot of the game will be based on the invasions into the UK. This could very well be thanks to the amount of Viking TV shows that we currently have like the hit show Vikings and Netflix’s The Last Kingdom.
When the trailer started I was a little worried that you would be playing as the British repelling the Vikings as they invade, however luckily that isn’t the case.
It’s still uncertain if we’ll be able to travel to different lands and if we do part of me expects it to be DLC. This being said, I do expect that you will be able to sail back home, as the sailing in Black Flag was always one of my favourite parts.
I expect everyone to bone up on their Norse mythology as we take a trip back in time to sacrifice those who don’t believe in Valhalla. But most importantly, make Odin proud.
