One of the most crushing bits of new recent news was that the animated series Final Space was canceled after the massive cliffhanger that was Season 3’s finale.
Creator Olan Rogers has said several times that he is pushing for the story to be finished in any way he can – a TV movie, a comic series or even a video game.
He had originally planned a further three seasons of the series so it’s likely that, whatever happens, it’ll need a bit of time to tell the story.
When this trailer dropped I thought maybe it was the continuation of the series but sadly it’s not… however, if enough fans turn out to buy this, there’s always the possibility that it will help whatever the next chapter turns out to be.
Also, playing as Gary on a mission to rescue Mooncake in VR just sounds too good to pass up.
