Batman/Superman vs. Captain America…..for now

April 9th, 2014 by Todd Black Comments

After delays, and speculations, and rumors to the contrary, it appears that May 6, 2016 may be the greatest day in comic book movie history. As it is now “confirmed” that both DC and Marvel will have a movie out on that day. Yep, it’s Batman and Superman, vs. Captain America.

This comes off the heels of Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier‘s huge victory at the global box office, already getting 300+ million dollars in revenue. One has to wonder if the kid from Brooklyn really can take on the billionaire from Gotham and the last survivor of Krypton.

If this does happen, it will be a showdown for the ages….if it happens. Many people (including some here at FTN) believe that one of these two titans will move. After all, it’s over two years until these movies actually come out, so there’s plenty of time to logically move things back or forward. Until that happens though, let’s speculate! Does two heroes beat one? Does a meet-up over 75 years in the making beat the third film in a series? Or does a shield really stop a batarang and heat vision?! Let us know what you think!
