Emma Stone teases fate of Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man 2

January 29th, 2014 by Edwin Torres Jr Comments

Ever since we saw pics of Emma stone’s Gwen Stacy in an outfit familiar to all Spider-man fans, we’ve all been wondering whether or not she’ll make it to the next film.

Speaking with On Air with Ryan Seacrest this morning, Stone teased the upcoming film and Gwen’s fate:

“I think the intention the whole time has been to tell Gwen’s story as closely to the comic as possible. That’s been the director’s idea and the studio’s idea. We’ll see if that comes to fruition.”

What do you think will we see Gwen in Amazing Spider-Man 3?

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

The Marc Webb directed movie stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jaimie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Campbell Scott, Embeth Davidtz, Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti and Sally Field.

The film is set to swing into theaters on April 18th, 2014 in the UK and on May 2nd in the US. While the third film is currently set for release on June 10, 2016 and a fourth film in the franchise to follow on May 4, 2018.
