Listen: The Irish Pubcast – Belfast film and Comic Con

October 30th, 2014 by Andrew McCarroll Comments

Wayne Talbot, Kim Brosnan, Darren Fahey and Ciaran Marcantonio form the multi award winning Irish Pubcast, four Irish Nerds getting their drink on and cursing their way through geek tangents of the booze-fuelled variety. They pull no punches and aren’t afraid to speak their booze-frazzled minds. So pull up a bar stool and pour yourself a drink, this is Pubcast!

Howdy Folks, here is our coverage from Belfast Film & Comic Con. Wayne gets to sit down with Paul McGann and talk about all things Doctor who and Alien 3. Ciaran gets to sit down with Comic Book writer and artist James O’Barr and talk about all things Crow. We give our reactions and opinions to Showmasters first event here, and fanboy and fangirl all over the shop. Enjoy & thanks for listening folks.

Andrew McCarroll never quite built on the dizzying career heights that he hit at 6 years old, when as a member of the “Ghostbusters” he would charge his neighbours to remove any unwanted spectres. Now retired from slaying spooks, he spends his time obsessing over superheroes (especially Batman) and devouring shows like Dexter, Game of Thrones and Archer in a manner that would make Galactus proud.
