Bear with us on this one folks, but it seems that the next Grand Theft Auto game is set to be Rockstar’s biggest one yet…
Tweaktown are reporting that the entire United States of America is set to be mapped out for players to cause havoc around, a project which would see the game released in 2020. While it sounds absurd, after all it took the developers the same amount of time to bring us GTA V which contains a map FAR smaller than this new idea, this has been done before by Ubisoft with The Crew.
The sheer size of the proposed map would mean long loading times while driving from one city to the next may prove to be very boring for players. As for the hardware requirements, theres nothing that would support the size of the map in the current gen consoles. Tweaktown are suggesting that it may have to be done via a streaming service but for now take this one with a major pinch of salt.
