Get ready for the new daily show

Season 4 of Hannibal might just happen

August 11th, 2017 by Marc Comments

Talks are underway on bringing Hannibal back to the small screen.

The show was cancelled by NBC a few years back however showrunner Bryan Fuller confirmed the possibility of a return via Twitter this week.

Conversations couldn’t start until 2 years after the final airing of season 3,” he informed a fan. “[Martha De Laurentiis] has started those conversations. This takes time.”

Fuller, who is currently showrunner on Starz’s American Gods, has said in the recent past that both himself and the cast are up for a return.

The cast is game, I’m game,” he said after the show’s cancellation. “It’s just a matter of finding the right time where everybody’s schedules sync up, but I would love to continue to tell the story with Hugh Dancy and Mads Mikkelsen. They’re such a fantastic collaborators and one of the most satisfying actor-showrunner relationships I’ve ever had in this industry. So I would love to continue this story.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
