SPOILERS: New Justice League merchandise features the return of you-know-who

May 30th, 2017 by Marc Comments

OK, so while we all prepare for Wonder Woman this weekend and dust off our cinema-bought popcorn tins from Batman V Superman and Suicide Squad, we have a new reason to be excited because not only is there Justice League tins coming too but it features the return of, well, you know who…

Golden Link Europe released the below images of their ‘concession stand merchandise’ for the Justice League and, while they don’t feature any new images of the heroes, it’s really nice to see the whole team: Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg… and Superman.

The League is all here… and while we’ve not seen Superman on any official merchandise so far, we reckon this is firmly NOT a spoiler. But we put the warning on anyway. Because we’re nice like that.

Thoughts?

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
