Last month, we got word that 20th Century Fox was narrowing down who would play Victor Von Doom aka Doctor Doom, the man who will be the primary nemesis for the Fantastic Four in Josh Trank’s reboot.
According to Variety, Toby Kebbell will be Doom.
He joins a cast that includes Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell who are aboard as the main heroes.
Kebbell had been up against Domhnall Gleeson, Eddie Redmayne, and Sam Riley for the role. He’s certainly on Fox’s radar due to his role in Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes.
Variety does mention the deal is not final yet, likely we’ll get confirmation soon.
Josh Trank will direct the big screen adaptation from a screenplay by Simon Kinberg.
The Fantastic Four is currently set for a release on June 19th, 2015.
