Even since Warner Bros. Pictures pushed back Zack Snyder’s Batman vs Superman 10 months to May 6th, 2016, fans have been anticipating a head to head battle. Since this date was already claimed by an unknown Marvel Studios release. Seems a funny day to pick out of all the choices available. Anyway although many suspect that Marvel will end up shifting dates, Kevin Feige tells /Film that this is not the case.
“We’re certainly keeping the date there, and we’ll announce what that movie is, I assume, in the next few months.”
There are a number of possible contenders for the May 6th date, but the most likely appears to be Doctor Strange, since we have a directors short list.
Meanwhile, Brazilian site Judao, is reporting a rumor that Batman vs Superman may be the one to flinch first, shifting its release date by a week, to the weekend of April 29th, 2016. It is unknown whether this is just in Brazil or not.
