Sorry guys but Armie Hammer, despite some seriously fun trolling of DC fans, says that he honestly has not had any discussions about playing Green Lantern in the DC Cinematic Universe.
The actor has been playing with fans for weeks, teasing that he may be the new big screen Green Lantern – heck even Superman actor Henry Cavill was getting in on the fun but now, speaking to Collider, Hammer himself has extinguished the Lantern talk.
“The only talk of me being Green Lantern that I have heard in my life – the ONLY talk – has come from social media,” said the actor, putting to bed any connection between him and Green Lantern.
Do we believe him? Yeah, probably… but we still get the feeling there’s something to all this…
