I try my best to look at films with an open mind. I freely admit that I do not always succeed. Sometimes my assumptions are correct, other times they are not. One of the most recent examples I can think of is The Lego Movie. Until I sat down to watch this film in the theatre, I thought this film would be terrible. However, I found it to be one of the most enjoyable films of that year.
I tried to keep this thought in mind, when hearing this announcement today. However, despite my best attempts, I just can’t keep an open mind. With this all being said… THERE’S GOING TO BE A PEZ MOVIE???!!!!!!
As of this moment in time, very little is known about the film. We know that Cameron Fay (The Three Stooges) will be writing the screenplay and will be produced by Lee Nelson and David Buelow.
In the announcement, EMA CEO and founder, Lee Nelson stated: “PEZ Candy is beloved by children and adults alike. With Cameron Fay we’ve created a world unique to Pez and a story that will touch the hearts of many.”
I cannot believe this is being made… Nothing else needs to be said.
