Bruce Timm talks The Killing Joke animated movie PLUS did Kevin Conroy confirm he and Mark Hamill will be Batman and Joker in it?

Batman: The Animated Series Showrunner Bruce Timm has revealed some interesting details on the DC Animated movie version of the definitive Batman/Joker tale, The Killing Joke by Alan Moore and Brian Bolland, this weekend at Wizard World Comic Con in New Orleans.

Timm revealed that the movie will be debuting at SDCC and therefore we can expect to see the home release in late July or August this year.

He also added that the source material wasn’t enough for a full movie, so they had to flesh it out a little, whatever that means; it got us wondering about a story we ran some time ago that speculated that Harley Quinn might be added into the story.

Hmmmmmmm…

While Timm did say he couldn’t talk about the cast, Batman voice-actor Kevin Conroy has fuelled the rumour that he’d be Batman again, with Mark Hamill taking on is role as Joker with the awesome picture below, which hi put on Twitter (scroll on down for the full interview with Bruce Timm):
