After Guillermo Del Toro revealing how important Pacific Rim 2 is to him and his current slate of movies (here), we now may have further details on the film…
Those Nerdbast#@ds are reporting that Del Toro is heading to Toronto in November to start filming the giant robots v giant monsters sequel after he has finished the whole press thing for his horror movie Crimson Peak which opens in October (yes, that’s Halloween taken care of).
They are also reporting that the are hearing the Pacific Rim 2 title will be… Maelstrom.
This is all rumour and we don’t know much about the movie itself either except that this time it will apparently tell the start from the Kaijus’ side, which could be very interesting, indeed.
Are you excited for this sequel? We sure a heck are… August 4th, 2017 has never seemed so far away.
