Ok, we always thought Tom Cruise was pretty good in the Mission: Impossible series but this is going to get a little, well, confusing…
It seems that Cruise is in early talks to star in Guy Ritchie’s The Man From U.N.C.L.E movie at Warner Brothers.
Very little is known at the minute, but it’s probably a safe bet that he’ll be playing the American secret agent Napoleon Solo, played in the original 60s TV series by Robert Vaughn.
Solo had a Russian partner called Ilya Kuryakin and they both worked for the secret organiation called U.N.C.L.E. and they fought the evil organisation THRUSH on a weekly basis. The movie was almost made by Steven Soderbergh a few years ago with George Clooney in the lead role, Bradley Cooper was also attached briefly too. However, it looks like Ritchie’s success with the Sherlock Holmes series has made him the man for the job…
More as we get it…
