Get ready for the new daily show

DC/Warners planning new movie line-up? Gotham City Sirens dead? New DC rumour control series planned

January 20th, 2018 by Marc Comments

It looks like DC/Warners may be set to take the DC Cinematic Universe into a slightly different direction as well as trying to control all the rumours floating around about their movies during production.

Moving forward, it looks like the studio will be addressing rumours and fake news about their movies – something that haven’t really done so far, with the aim being that they will actively seek out the people/person leaking the news… presumably with dire repercussions, and they may even make a DC All Access type series that will be put together simply to address the rumours: “There is a DC news show coming. Similar to DC All Access, but daily and exclusive stuff. Major news will be released through this portal.”

Which sounds like it could be something pretty cool.

On top of that, ironically, the latest rumour is that their upcoming slate of movies may have had some tweaks made to it.

As well as all the officially announced movies from Warners, there’s several that have been rumoured as in preproduction. This is the list that we know of so far:

Aquaman
Shazam!
Suicide Squad 2
The Batman
Justice League Dark
Batgirl
Green Lantern Corps
Flashpoint
Wonder Woman 2
Man of Steel 2
Nightwing
Lobo
Cyborg
Deadshot
Deathstroke
Black Adam
Booster Gold
Untitled Todd Philips Joker Movie
Untitled Joker/Harley Quinn Movie
Gotham City Sirens
Birds of Prey

However, a new report has it that the only movies really in production at the studio are:

Aquaman
Shazam!
Wonder Woman 2
Suicide Squad 2
Flashpoint
The Batman
{And not necessarily in that order.}

We can also expect these to be officially announced soon:

Man Of Steel 2
Nightwing

On top of this we’ve also heard that Margot Robbie’s Harley may be appearing in three movies, none of which are Gotham City Sirens. Theses are Suicide Squad 2, Birds of Prey and Joker Vs Harley.

So far none of this is confirmed, but given the changes at Warners, especially regarding the DC movies, we’d expect to hear something official soon.
