After the Deadpool footage that leaked from SDCC (here), the fans have been waiting with baited breath to seeing the trailer in full glory…

But here’s the thing, it looks like it really isn’t going to happen. For the record, we think it sucks that SDCC gets stuff that the other fans don’t – we can’t travel halfway across the world for SDCC; let the exclusive stuff debut there and then a day or two later online. That’s fair, right?

Anyway…

The Deadpool trailer has been given a green band trailer which means it’s ok for pretty much everyone, so it’s certainly not even close to the SDCC one.

The trailer runs for just short of 2mins 30secs. We’re guessing this will appear at the start of Fantastic Four, but also imagine it’ll be online soon.

Groovy? Groovy.

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool arrives in style on February 12th, 2016.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
