Ok, so we know that many films, especially high profile ones, film under names other than the actual one… working titles as they are called.

This is so, primarily, they can film in relative low profile – Return of the Jedi was Blue Harvest, The Dark Knight was  Rory’s First Kiss, you get the idea.

Well now three of the biggest movies currently/soon filming are using working titles and, because we’re bunch of happy-go-lucky scamps here at FTN, we’re going to spill the beans.

Ready?

Ok…

So, first up, Wolverine III is now filming under the title Juarez, reports Comicbook.

Next up, The Justice League Part 1 will officially start filming on April 11th, 2016, and, thanks to casting and production notices, the working title has been revealed as Caveman.

Some people are looking for clues in the title of Caveman, with some thinking it could hint at Darkseid as the villain and others believing it’s a nod to Vandal Savage, an immortal baddie (Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow fans should know this) who got his powers during a meteor shower back when he was a, yup, caveman.

Of course, it may mean nothing. However, one other very interesting thing we’ve learned is that Mad Max and almost one-time Justice League movie director, George Miller – once also rumoured to be directing Man Of Steel 2 when it happens – is an executive producer on the movie. Now that is pretty cool.

Finally, another small movie on our radar, Star Wars: Episode VIII, is rumoured to be filming under the title of Space Bear, thanks to the tweet below from the one and only Carrie Fisher… we’re not so sure on this one. Maybe her dog, Gary,  has a new nickname.

Anyway, we love little bits of fun like this, let us know if you guys do too.

May the Force be with you all!

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
