Does anyone remember at the end of 22 Jump Street when it does the hilarious (ish) montage of all the other movies in the series that aren’t going to happen? Well, they lied. Well, about 23 Jump Street anyway. Not that anyone is terribly shocked or surprised.
“You two sons of bi#@hes are going to Medical School!” Ice Cube tells Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum in said montage. I’m prepared to put money on it here and now that they will too. Maybe.
Deadline and Comingsoon are reporting that 22 Jump Street writer Rodney Rothman is currently working along with directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller on the third movie. However, they point out it’s not clear if Lord and Miller will direct this time out.
