Well, isn’t this interesting? It seems that one of the best-loved characters of Iron Man 3 is heading to Avengers: Infinity War.
According to IMDB young actor Ty Simpkins, who played the young boy called Harley Keener that helped Tony Stark get back on track as he started falling apart with panic attacks, is going to appear in Avengers 4.
Keener and Stark’s interactions in Iron Man 3 were (one of the only) widely loved elements of Shane Black’s third entry in the Iron Man franchise and it will be fun to see the two reunited…
But then it got us thinking to a story that broke waaaaaaay back in 2013 (here) which had the young actor talking about how he may have a bigger role in the MCU: Nova!
Here’s what the actor said then: “Well, I actually never thought about that but we did read an article. Have you ever heard about the comic book Nova?
“We read an article about how Harley might be my middle name, and Keener could be my mom’s maiden name, and my dad could have joined the Nova Corps. Then my real name’s Richie and I actually figure it out because my mom gets killed by an alien, then I figure out that my dad joined the Nova Corps, and I join the Nova Corps and I become Nova.”
Sure, it’s a shot in the dark but, hey, we love an out there theory as much as anyone and, let’s be honest, the Nova Corp are definitely part of the story when it comes to Thanos… what do you all reckon?
Either way, it looks like Simpkins is coming back to the MCU and that’s just fine by us.

Avengers: Infinity War will be released in theaters on May 4th, 2018. The untitled fourth Avengers film will be released on May 3, 2019.
