Rumours have been circling about this one for a while, but it seems that the most bizarre crossover of the year MIB 23 – yes, the mixing of Men in Black and Jump Street – now has its director in James Bobin.

When talking to, the director of Alice Through The Looking Glass confirmed he was onboard for the project.

“Yes, it’s very early stages, obviously,” Bobin said, “but I’ve always loved the Men in Black world. Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill in 21 Jump Street are just so funny. Those guys and their world makes me laugh every time I think about it. That’s always a good sign for a film.”

Let’s just hope that Tatum, Hill, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones all return – or at least make some kind of appearance – for the mash-up. And let us know on Facebook how you think this one is going to work, because it blows our minds any time we think about it.

Hidden deep in the woods, past the abandoned insane asylum and long-forgotten summer camp, off the old dirt road, across the creaky timber bridge, lies a log cabin. Under the full moon some have said they've heard blood-curdling howls from deep in the basement, though none have been brave enough to explore further... If they had, the shocking reveal would be that the screams come from old horror VHS tapes, accompanied by the maniacal laugh of Phil Robinson, brought on by comics and wrestling promos. The self-confessed "horror guy", he has also been known to talk about Spider-Man and heavy metal at great, unnecessary lengths. Yes, he knows he needs a haircut.
