So during the EPIC second trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, a key spot showed just how dark the Dark Knight’s life has been since donning the cape and cowl.
Specifically, the pic above, showing a Robin suit spraypainted by (presumably) The Joker. Indicating the Clown Prince of Crime took out Batman’s sidekick.
But…now many are wondering if Robin will actually appear in the film to show the gruesome death. Or just to show he really existed. Well, according to Heroic Hollywood, not only is that going to happen, but Zack Snyder’s son Eli is set to take the role. How many scenes he’ll be in is still a mystery, but this may be the only time we see a Robin in this DCMU. At least, for now.

Responding to the rumor, Zack Snyder posted the below photo of he and his son Eli with the caption “Boy wonder?”. Snyder posted the photo to his private Instagram account, but thankfully Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice photographer Clay Enos reposted it on his own account so the world could see it.
