Lord and Miller may be off the Han Solo movie but are they set for The Flash?

While everyone is talking about the Han Solo movie right now and how directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (above) were fired (here), we should also be looking at where they’ll possibly go next.

These two guys are in big demand, having already done the Jump Street movies, the LEGO Movie and more, with the Miles Morales animated movie still on their plate, the duo seem like they are in high demand, indeed.

You may recall the pair wrote and were looking to be directors on Warner/DC’s The Flash movie (here) but in the end decided that the fastest man alive was no match for Han Solo’s shenanigans and they moved to Disney/Lucasfilm to direct everyone’s favourite smuggler.

However, we’re hearing that, in the wake of everything, Lord and Miller are still in the loop, or rather BACK in the loop, for The Flash:

What will happen next for Lord and Miller isn’t clear but they are in demand and have an open berth waiting for them to direct The Flash for Warner Bros., if they chose to take it. (They had left that film for the Han Solo movie but could return).

Could they have been negotiating with Warner while filming at Disney? Could this have played a role in their departure too?

Who knows? All we do know is that we would love to see them attached to The Flash… again.

What about you all? What say you?
