Sometimes…fans just rock. Without fans, nothing would be made at length. After all…who would buy the product, or watch the product? Yet sometimes, fans go beyond the call of fandom and make something both their own, and yet in the universe they love.
Animator Paul Johnson did just that, spending 4 years (yes, YEARS) making a animated short focused on the Tie-Fighter video game series that many Star Wars fans adore. The film shows the empire and its pilots in a different light, and was made with a style you honestly don’t see much anymore.
