The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel has just cast actress Brittany Ishibashi (above) as Karai.
In the Turtles’ story Karai is the child of Splinter but was raised by Shredder to be a villain, given how the first movie changed the story, it’s unclear just who she’ll be in the grand scheme of the story now, although she is, according to deadline, still credited as “Shredder’s daughter”.
It’s interesting that no one seems to remember that Karai was in the first movie, played by Minae Noji (below) so this is actually a recasting…
