June 2nd, 2014 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

Well, the might of the X-Men could not hold Disney’s Maleficent off the top spot as the house of mouse film finds its way straight into the number one spot.

In slightly more bad news for the X-Men, Days of Future Past also had the biggest drop off of any movie this week taking 64.1% less than it did on its debut week.

The only other new film in this week’s chart went to comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West which went in at number three, this is not good news for Seth MacFarlane as his previous film, Ted, went straight into the number one spot and took nearly three times the amount of A Million Ways.
