It seems like forever since we saw the first shots of Daniel Radcliffe in Horns.
But now, after its premiere at TIFF, we finally get a look at him in action as Ig Perrish, a man persecuted for a crime he didn’t commit who wakes up one morning with horns (that only he can see) that give him an amazing power (and curse) over people.
It must be said, I, as a big fan of Joe Hill’s book, had my doubts about Harry Potter in this role but in the clip he certainly seems to be up to the part… facing off against an uncredited David Morse.
Directed by Alexandre Aja, director of movies like Switchblade Romance, Mirrors and, em, Piranha, we have hopes that it will be the right mix of horror, character and comedy moments that Hill’s work needs.
Horns also stars Juno Temple, Max Minghella, and James Remar and will be out soon…
