Netflix has dropped a new trailer featuring many of the new movies that they have planned for 2021 with the promise being a new movie every week!
The trailer (below) features Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot introducing it as they are starring in the upcoming Red Notice but that’s not all that’s in there.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence satire Don’t Look Up is featured as the clip draws to an end and before that we get clips of the Chris Hemsworth’s Escape from Spiderhead, Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead, as well as The Harder They Fall starring Jonathan Majors, Idris Elba, Lakeith Stanfield, Delroy Lindo and Regina King.
We also see Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer as sueprheroines in Thunder Force, Jason Momoa’s Sweet Girl, Halle Berry’s Bruised, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tick, Tick Boom!,” then there’s The Woman in the Window, The Kissing Booth and To All the Boys.
The trailer also gives brief glimses of Yes Day, Outside the Wire, Bad Trip, O2, The Last Mercenary, Kate, Fear Street, Night Teeth, Malcolm and Marie, Monster, Moxie, The White Tiger, Double Dad, Back to the Outback and Beauty.
There’s a lot of talent in here and that’s not half of it. At least it’s nice to know that, no matter how crazy it gets out there, there’s going to be a new movie to look forward to at the weekend, right?
Here’s a reason to get excited about 2021: Netflix has a new movie coming out every single week! This is just a sneak peak of the full list, which ranges from superheroes, to westerns, thrillers, rom-coms, action, comedy, and sometimes all of those things combined — and always with the world’s biggest and best stars, directors, and fresh faces. Get hyped, people, because this year is gonna be a big one.
We also have a couple of new images from Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead which we put below – oh and in the first image, if you look in the top left, that is the reels of the fable Snyder Cut – how’s that for a fun easter egg?:
