Instead, this is something akin to the Kevin Can F**k Himself TV show where it looks like an old-fashioned sitcom, from the set to the film stock, but then changes format at certain points.
In the 1990s, a religious homemaker Bernie (Frost) and his family suddenly discover the workmen in his house are Russian criminals prepared to tear the house apart looking for loot.

It is very much a teaser, but this could either be excellent or irritating as hell. We shall have to wait and see, but I am hoping for the former.

Written and directed by Steffen Haars and Flip van der Kuil in their English-language feature debuts. Shot on location in Amsterdam, the film stars Nick Frost, Kevin Connolly and Alicia Silverstone.
The film is scheduled to premiere in the Midnight section at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival on 20th January 2024.
