Does Spanish listing confirm The Book of Boba Fett season 2?

July 19th, 2022 by Marc Comments

Ok, so we know that The Book of Boba Fett, which has its flaws for sure but we adored, was very divisive but it looks like we may have confirmation – hopefully – that Season 2 may be on the cards.

While the series did very well as far as numbers watching was concerned, many has issues with the direction Fett was taken as well as other things but many fans wanted more – they feel that the series was great to have Fett back but his story is still not over.

Indeed star Temuera Morrison himself has spoken about how he really wants a second season so he and Mace Windu (who isn’t dead, deal with it) can have closure, after all, Windu murdered Fett’s dad in front of him (here) and Samuel L Jackson has said that’s he’s keen to step back into the Jedi robes no matter how tattered they may be by now (here) and believes it could happen.

Now a piece of promotional art from Spain has appeared online that seems to suggest The Book of Boba Fett Season 2 is coming [continues after image]:

The listing, above, reads Temporada 2 muy pronto which translates as season 2 coming soon. Now, this could be fake or incorrect but the listing has Andor, Obi-Wan Kenobi and The Mandalorian on there too and, if it’s fake, it’s a convincing one.

“We’ve got to see the old Boba Fett,” Morrison said in a recent interview about what we might expect if a second season happens, “We reintroduced him. We found out some stuff. But I think it’s time to get him back to his badass ways. No two ways around that.”

This is a reference to the fact that, in the series, Boba became a man of peace more than the lethal weapon many expected him to be in the series… but that side of him, if the situation arises, almost certainly still exists within him:  “I think we sort of have that scope to go back there,” Morrison goes on, referencing the character fans always believed him to be based on the comics, books and games and what we saw and heard of him in the original Star Wars trilogy, before adding: “but that’s out of my control. I’ll just see what happens.”

Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
