With everyone deciding just how much they hated the finale of Game of Thrones last night, it looks like we already have a future in that world to look forward to… or, more precisely, a past.
The Sun (ugh) is reporting that the new series – called Bloodmoon at the minute – has already begun filming in Northern Ireland and the series will take place 5,000 years before GoT and will focus on Night King creators, the Children of the Forest.
“Thrones fans will be delighted to hear things have started with the prequel,” the red-top reported.
“Those working on the set in Belfast are referring to the series as Bloodmoon. Producers have put together a stellar cast and it will be must-watch telly for anyone who loves Game Of Thrones.”
The series will star Naomi Watts is written by Kingsman writer Jane Goldman who is working alongside George RR Martin on the story.
