While not everyone loved Gotham, heck we’re even divided over it here at FTN, I did like it and I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes next season…
Well, we reported this a while ago (here), but it’s been confirmed that Joker and Mr Freeze will both feature next year. Now, we imagine that joker will be Jerome, the kid who was the proto-Joker in season one (below – keep scrolling).
And given the tragic circumstances of Mr Freeze in the Batman mythos, we don’t expect to see any policemen from solid any time soon but we do expect to see Dr. Victor Fries and maybe even the love of his life, Nora.
It also seems that Morena Baccarin has been raised to cast regular as Dr Leslie Tompkins. Fans of the comics will of course know that Leslie becomes very important to Bruce Wayne/Batman after that fateful night in Crime Alley when his parents were gunned down – it’ll be interesting to see if her role begins to head that way next season.
Gotham returns Mondays this fall on Fox.
