A surprise shake-up has occurred on the beloved NBC series Hannibal. Michael Pitt will not return for the upcoming third season of the show. Therefore, showrunner Bryan Fuller has cast Joe Anderson to play Mason Verger in the season.
For those concerned about the change, there is some news that can make this easier. If you recall, the end of the season saw Hannibal order that Verger’s face be fed to the dogs. And it has been confirmed that Verger’s character will be shown with heavy scarring and lots of make up. Check the instagram picture below to see what you can expect.
