It looks like Negan, Jesus, Gregory or Amelio aren’t going anywhere in The Walking Dead TV Series…

THR are reporting that Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Tom Payne, Austin Amelio and Xander Berkeley have all been elevated to Walking Dead series regulars: “All four play key characters from the comic books. Payne is hero Jesus, currently supporting Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his band of survivors. Amelio is Dwight, a badly burned member of Negan’s dastardly Saviors who has a particular bone to pick with Daryl (Norman Reedus). And Berkeley is Gregory, the shady leader of the Hilltop Colony who is poised to clash with Maggie (Lauren Cohan) — provided the pregnant Alexandria Safe Zone resident survives the finale.”

Well, none of this would be a surprise to readers of the comic series – heck, Negan is STILL in there causing mischief – so it looks like the series and the comics are set to continue down a familiar path. At least for the time being…

Here’s the full list of series regulars for season seven: Lincoln, Reedus, Steven Yeun (Glenn), Cohan, Chandler Riggs (Carl), Danai Gurira (Michonne), Melissa McBride (Carol), Michael Cudlitz (Abraham), Lennie James (Morgan), Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha), Alanna Masterson (Tara), Christian Serratos (Rosita), Josh McDermitt (Eugene), Seth Gilliam (Father Gabriel), Ross Marquand (Aaron), Austin Nichols (Spencer), Morgan, Payne, Amelio and Berkeley.

It seems likely we’ll get a trailer, release date and details on the casting of King Ezekiel at SDCC this year and that will lead to the revealing of The Kingdom in the series which, in turn, should lead to the comic’s All Out War storyline.

As for the cast members listed above, we’re guessing one of them WILL go when we find out just who Negan killed in the Season 6 finale.
