Woah! Some very cool news from SDCC for fans of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow!

Firstly, we know the Legend with consist of Dr. Mid-Nite, Stargirl, Obsidian, Commander Steel. We also know that the show will have a full order for Season 2… so 24 episodes it is!

But, in the most exciting news, it seems that the super team will have a suitable nemesis… The Legion of Doom!

Seriously, how cool is that!?

Yup, it was announced that the Waverider crew will face the Legion, composed of Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), the Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) and, yes, Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), all pictured above.

Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim said: “For season two of ‘Legends,’ we decided that the perfect antagonist for TV’s first-ever team of super heroes would be TV’s first-ever team of super-villains, recruited from the ranks of Arrow and The Flash’s deadliest adversaries.

“Being huge fans of the ‘Challenge of the Super Friends,’ we’ve come to call this group our ‘Legion of Doom.’”

This explains our earlier reports that Barrowman and Miller has signed contracts allowing them to be regulars in Arrow, Flash and Legends – it looks like the DC TV Universe is set to intertwine in ways we never thought of…

The second season of “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” premieres Thursday, Oct. 13, on The CW.
