At their panel at SDCC, the producers of the upcoming Thunderbirds Are Go reboot revealed the teams home, Tracy Island. It was always a fun part of the show to watch the swimming pool retract and the palm tree tilted out of the way to launch one of the ships.
Bleeding Cool reports that the show is coming up on its 50th anniversary. Executive Producer Giles Ridge said, “It‘s great to have the chance to give fans a sneak peak at the home of Thunderbirds. Tracy Island was a much loved feature of the original show, so it felt right that we showcase our new-look location with the show’s followers.”
The series will be a combination of live-action sets and CGI. We’re excited too at the news that former Bond Girl Rosamund Pike will be the voice of Lady Penelope and David Graham, the original Parker will be returning to reprise the role.
