Looks like another cornerstone character from the Batman and DC universe has signed on to Titans Season 3 with ex-Batgirl Barbara Gordon joining the team.
Playing the role Transcendants star Savannah Welch (fun fact, she also played April O’Neill in 2011 Casey Jones short from Polaris Banks) has signed on to the hit DC show now taken over by HBO Max.
In the show, we’ll meet a Barbara well into her career as she will be Gotham City Police Commissioner and will be in a wheelchair having been paralyzed by the Joker years earlier. And, when Nightwing AKA Dick Grayson, played by Brenton Thwaites, returns to Gotham they “rekindle” their romance and start “a new crime fighting partnership”… that sounds like we’re going to be getting Oracle in Titans and I am all here for that!
Titans has had great episodes and, well, terrible ones too, so let’s hope HBO Max stepping in can up the overall quality because Nightwing and Oracle together is a recipe for some potentially great TV.
