Cameron Monaghan confirms third Star Wars: Jedi game is already in the works

September 24th, 2023 by Marc Comments

While we’re all wondering if Cameron Monaghan’s Cal Kestis might finally make it over to live-action in the Mandoverse shows on Disney+, it looks like we’re definitely going to be seeing him again soon in an all-new Star Wars: Jedi game.

After the massively successful Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi: Survivor, it shouldn’t be a surprise that a third game is coming but it’s nice to have it confirmed and confirmed it has been.

At Ocala Comic Con this week, the young actor was on a panel dedicated to the games when he dropped the following nugget of information: “We’re working on the third and we’re in the process of doing it right now.

“That’s a big undertaking and there’s been some conversations so far. But hopefully, when all things are said and done, we’ll be able to go in and make something really cool for you guys again.”

With the second game arriving this year, it could be as much as three or four years before we see the next one but if the third is as good as what came before, it’s going to be worth the wait… and it certainly gives Kestis plenty of time to make his live-action debut. Just sayin’.

Are you a fan of the Jedi series? If so, are you excited for a third installment? What do you hope comes next in the series? LEt me know all your thoughts, gang…

Thoughts? I know you have them! Voice-off in the usual ways on FTN’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
