DayZ Standalone Released On Steam

December 16th, 2013 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

Day Z standalone is here, the game that Dean ‘Rocket’ Hall and his team have been working on for a year has finally hit Steam costing £19.99 for early Alpha access.
Early Alpha means the game is not complete and you should go into this purchase knowing that, there are some good things that come with this though, one of those being that you as a person help shape the game, report bugs and problems. Give the Developers ideas on how to improve the game.
Also the £19.99 price point is the lowest the game will be for a long time, once the game reaches its fully developed state then that price will rise dramatically.

Day Z is a zombie survival MMO where you and everyone else on the map are trying to survive a zombie apocalypse, starvation, thirst, cold, hypothermia and worst of all each other.
It was derived from an Arma II mod of the same name and has become one of the most popular mods around.

Keep watching this space for videos and updates about the game as the weeks go on.
