Although we’ve seen a few these stills before, Warner Bros. Pictures has now revealed high resolution images from the upcoming Mad Max: Fury Road.
Having first announced he would be taking over the role of “Mad” Max Rockatansky in 2010. Tom Hardy looks to finally be ready to hit cinema screens in the role made famous by Mel Gibson. Filming was actually completed in 2013, but the studio had ordered re-shoots after being unhappy with early footage. George Miller who helmed the original movies is back in the directors seat for the reboot/sequel which supposedly takes place after the events of the first movie. This means the movie will possibly resemble Mad Max: The Road Warrior as opposed to being a straight up remake/re-boot/my head hurts.
Alongside Hardy will be Josh Helman last seen as a young William Stryker in X-Men: Days of Future Past, who is unrecognisable as he proudly shows off a muzzled Rockatansky. The film also stars Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, Hugh Keays-Byrne, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
Along with the images below it is rumoured that Warner Brothers will be debuting a trailer at the upcoming Comic Con in San Diego
It will (hopefully) arrive in cinemas on May 15th, 2015.
