Although The Wrap reported that Girls actor Adam Driver is the frontrunner a to play Dick Grayson aka Nightwing in Zack Snyder’s much-anticipated Batman Vs. Superman, they did mention that at least two other actors could be in the mix for the “former sidekick” to Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne. Now Superhero Movie News are told by a source that that Warner Bros. have a shortlist of six actors. The two names they reveal are Penn Badgley (27) of Gossip Girl fame and Ezra Miller (21) of The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Batman Vs Superman is being scripted by David S. Goyer from a story he co-created with Snyder. Man of Steel‘s Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman in the film along with Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman. Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane will also reprise their roles in the sequel. It is scheduled to hit theaters on July 17, 2015.
