Well, we’ve known for a while that Kingsman 2 was coming and now we have a title and synopsis for it, courtesy of Empire Magazine.
Speaking to the magazine, director Kingsman: The Secret Service director Matthew Vaughn revealed it will be called Kingsman: The Golden Circle and, as we reported a while back, Julianne Moore will be the big bad with Halle Berry in there too.
Interestingly, the movie will largely focus not the US version of Kingsman called Statesman: “I didn’t know if I wanted to direct this or not. I was worried about the villain. Spy films are only as good as their villains. Then one morning I woke up with the whole storyline in place, and a new villain plot.”
The movie will feature, the director hints, a ski sequence a barroom brawl, robot dogs, one-armed henchmen, and fighting “a giant f—ing frankfurter?”
Okay, then.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle is set for release on June 16th, 2017.
