It looks like the good folks at Warners are determined to get Logan’s Run up off the ground. Again.
This time it’s down to Simon Kinberg, currently neck deep in X-Men and Star Wars duties, to pen the remake of the classic sci-fi movie.
The original 1976 movie starred Michael York and Jenny Agutter and told the story of a future that saw everyone killed when they reached 30 (although no-one knew this is what was happening) and the one man who struggled to change everything.
It’s an iconic movie that, in fairness hasn’t aged too well… so we’re unsure how we feel about the remake.
One thing is for sure, if handled properly, it could be an outstanding movie. Now Hollywood. please don’t screw it up.
That’s if it ever happens.
